My name is Kathy Harrington, and I am the designer and founder of Once Upon a Glass since May 11, 2013.
Previously named Coastal Glass, but evolved into Once Upon A Glass for website presence.
My husband became seriously ill in 2012 which led to me quitting my job. I started painting on glassware to give as party favors for a baby shower, and it has developed into a home based business to aid in supporting my family.
Turns out I truly love creating a beautiful and functional piece of glassware for you to enjoy using.
I hear comments like - I had a bad day but after sitting and looking at this beautiful glass you made for me - my whole mood turned to happy.
I pour my heart into each item and I hope you feel that love in my product and when dealing with my little company

You can place your order by filling out the contact page. In the message field you can list the item name, quantity and Name and Address where you want it shipped to. Please make sure you fill in an address that is safe to leave packages unattended. Include your phone number and / or email address so I may reach you if I have any questions.
In stock items will usually be ready for shipment within 48 hours of placing your order - Monday- Friday.

After package preparation is complete your item(s) will ship within 48 hours of payment receipt Monday - Friday.
I use SquareUp, a secure processing company for credit card payments.
You will be invoiced twice to your email address.
Once for the items purchased.
A second time for shipping and handling. (I only charge you what I am charged to keep shipping costs down)
Once you have paid both invoices I will mail your packages within 24 hours.
Please note that shipping of glassware costs a bit more then most items. The cost for shipping 1 glass and the difference of adding additional glasses varies only by a dollar or two in most instances. Mugs are the heaviest and will add weight and thus $ to shipping.
I wrap each glass in tissue and then bubble wrap.
I use as small a box as will get it there safely.
All packages are Insured.
Packages ship through USPO unless you specifically want them shipped by another provider.
**If for any reason items arrive damaged please contact me immediately. Keep all packaging till Post Office pays the claim
Out of Stock Orders
Please be aware that out of stock orders generally take 2 weeks to fulfill. Time frame does depend on the complexity of your design, number ordered, and how many orders are ahead of yours.
Letting me know a date you need it by is helpful, as I will do everything I can to fulfill every order as you need it.
Once you contact me I will tell you an expected time frame to expect the order and will proceed if agreeable to you.
If you have an idea you would like me to put on glass/glassware, tell me what it is. I will design a glass for you, down to the colors you want, and will run the design and price by you to get your approval before I start the item.
Once the painting process is finished I will send you pictures for you to approve before baking the item.
Once you approve the design, I will collect payment for the item(s) before painting is started.

In stock items - if you are unhappy with your purchase you may return item for a full refund within 10 days of delivery excluding shipping charges. You will be responsible for return shipping charges.
Once the item is returned I will inspect it to make sure it is in the same condition I shipped it to you and process a refund within 24 hours of receipt Monday - Friday.
Custom orders - there will be no refunds for custom items.
